Duties may include: planting of annual or perennial flowers, shrubs and trees; planting native gardens, mulching, amending soils, pruning, chemical and/or organic weed control, dead heading and watering of plant material.Qualified candidates should have good communication skills, the ability to work effectively with team members and clients, as well as have familiarity and/or experience with perennial and woody plant materials including plant identification and proper pruning or deadheading procedures for various species. Team members will need to be able to safely use and maintain equipment. Landscape maintenance experience, horticulture, plant pathology or an entomology background preferred.
